What Is A Call To Action?
Almost all websites (not the kind we build of course!) make the unfortunate mistake of acting like a digital billboard. Billboards cannot handle an action. They require the viewer to self-initiate an action after viewing the billboard. Websites can prompt the visitor to take action immediately. The data is conclusive. “Nudging” the visitor to take action while they’re on your website, and providing an easy means to do it, will dramatically increase conversions.
Call to actions include (but are not limited to) the demonstration buttons below. You can prompt your visitor to “Read More”, “Learn More”, “Book Now”, “Watch Now”, “Buy Now” or “Download” as examples of a call to action. By engaging your visitor to take action, you’ll increase your likeliness of acquiring a customer or client.
